1. Introduction

  • “Products” means clothing, accessories, and related items offered for sale.
  • “Account” means the personalized profile created by a User to access services.
  • “Courier Partner” means third‑party logistics providers engaged for delivery.
  • “Applicable Law” means all laws, rules, and regulations in force in India.

3. Eligibility

  • Minors may use the Platform only under parental/guardian supervision.
  • By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

4. Account Registration & Responsibilities

  • You agree to accept responsibility for all activities under your Account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Accounts for misuse, fraud, or inaccurate information.

  • As our products are handcrafted, slight variations in embroidery, motifs, or color may occur. These are inherent to artisanal work and not considered defects.
  • Product availability is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify items at any time.

7. Orders & Payments

  • All prices are listed in INR and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Accepted payment methods: UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking.
  • Orders are confirmed only after successful payment.
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders suspected of fraud or unauthorized activity.
  • In case of payment failure, the order will not be processed.

8. Shipping & Delivery

  • Orders are processed within 2–4 business days.
  • Delivery timelines vary depending on courier partners and customer location.
  • Tracking details will be shared via email/SMS.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by courier services, customs, or unforeseen events.

9. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.
  • Products must be unused, unwashed, and returned with original tags/packaging.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection.
  • Customized, discounted, or final‑sale items are not eligible for return.
  • Exchanges are subject to product availability.
  • We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet policy conditions.

10. Promotions & Offers

  • Promotional codes, discounts, and offers are subject to specific terms.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw or modify promotions without prior notice.
  • Misuse of promotional codes may result in order cancellation.

11. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
  • Distribute viruses, malware, or harmful code.
  • Engage in fraudulent transactions or misrepresentation.
  • Copy, reproduce, or exploit Platform content without permission.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your Account.

12. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, photographs, logos, and content on this Platform are the property of The Chikankari House.
  • Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not responsible for courier delays, minor product differences, or issues beyond our control.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

14. Business Transition

In the event of a reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets, or stock (including in connection with bankruptcy or similar proceedings), customer information may be transferred to the new entity. If such a transition occurs, we will notify users on our website for a period of 30 days.

15. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.

16. Modification of Terms

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by Indian law.
  • Jurisdiction: Hyderabad, India.
  • Disputes shall first be resolved amicably; failing which, arbitration will be conducted in Hyderabad.
